Manchurian Cultural Heritage Society

Our Mission

  • We are building a public cultural infrastructure to respond to the long-standing underrepresentation and intergenerational disruption in the transmission of Manchurian history and culture in Canada and globally.

Rather than presenting heritage as static preservation, our work establishes a living system that connects cultural production, education, and archival practice.

Through this integrated approach, we support the active transmission of cultural knowledge across generations — not only preserving it, but enabling it to be practiced, reinterpreted, and sustained in contemporary society.

Positioned within the broader context of Northeast Asia, the Society fosters meaningful cross-cultural dialogue while maintaining a clear commitment to the continuity of Manchurian cultural identity.

Our initiatives bring together artists, youth, educators, and cultural practitioners in a shared ecosystem that supports long-term cultural sustainability, public access, and inclusive participation.
